Major activities of Steenbergen Hollanddrain® are the organization of manufacturing and worldwide marketing and sales of trenching equipment and ancillary equipment. These activities since the early 1950-ies. Steenbergen Hollanddrain® has a very expert management, very experienced R & D engineers and highly skilled teams for quality control and virtual production support. R & D engineers are experts in hydraulic and mechanical engineering, particularly related to crawler and diggingchaindrive systems. Design and drawing operations under CAD facilities, company owned. R & D personnel multilingual. Very alert computer database supported by After Sales Service department, multilingual, with over three decades of machine details reference system. Marketing and Sales are tuned to perform with an extensive network of agents in all countries where traditional products (industrial and drainage & irrigation trenchers) are earmarked for distribution in the oncoming millenium.

The substantial enhancement of efficiency and components just-in-time supply together with continuous quality control give impressive results.

The products

Steenbergen Hollanddrain® productline consists of:

• Trenchers and plows to install agricultural drainage and irrigation pipes beyond doubt the widest programm in the business. Powerranges from 90-400 kW (125-550HP).
• Plows (non vibratory) to install cable. Power from 150-370 kW (200-500 HP).
• Trenchers for industrial applications particularly for dewatering over 15 feet deep, (replacing vertical well point systems), installing diaphragm walls for pollution confinement now up to 18 feet, fabricating concrete interception walls until 12 feet underground, for reinjecting used groundwater in filter (sand) filled trenches to 25 feet deep, special deep dewatering in stratified layers to 34 feet depth. Powerrange 260-880 kW (350-1200 HP).
• Utility rock trenchers of which U 2500 and U 3000 model, with double offset full hydrostatic drives and powered by 147 kW (200 HP) and 220 kW (300 HP) engines.
• Off-the-road models adding modular rocktrenching-backends to existing Heavy Duty Plow and trencher prime movers, 242, 330 and 404 kW (330, 450 and 550 HP).
• Productdesign and quality are worldwide considered State of the Art.
• Prime-mover drives through hydromechanical system with splitter-box and shaftdrive are built just as many as fully hydrostatic versions, the former for its simplicity and serviceability preferred in developing countries, the latter mainly applied in the industrial countries.
• Where hydrostatics are applied a preference has developed for Hydromatik products because of their attractive parameters to suit our design requirement like crawlerdrive control application independent of load and continuous steering load, electroproportional command for lower hysteresis and independence from temperature, maximal use of dynamic power without overload of thermal combustion engine.
• In the electric segment, machines have been equipped tentatively with systems to prevent mishandling of functions and to ease and speed up fault diagnosis.
• Powersources are standard for Mercedes and Caterpillar diesel engines.

Steenbergen Hollanddrain® is perfectly located in a quiet enclave of the active Rotterdam industrial area (near Rijnmond) at a distance of 13 miles motorway from the Rotterdam ring highway. Premises comprise a lot of 10.000 sqm on which are situated offices, central storage hall, final assembly construction hall, total constructed space is 6.000 sqm. Behind premises a test area is available.Perfect access to the departure quai's at the Southern Seawaterway of Rotterdam Naval Port, which is the most modern and largest in the world. Perfect railway connection to all major European connections. Airports in Rotterdam and Amsterdam to major cities around the world at respectively 20 and 60 miles.North/South Motorway to Belgium/France and Germany (via Rotterdam Ring at two miles).
